Our Representative will pick you from place of Accommodation at around 5: 00Hrs from Jinja and drive to Mabira Eco-Tourism Site, the only rain forest we are left with in Uganda. We shall have a Morning Guided nature walk from 6: am here we expect to see Primates like monkeys that are seen swinging in the tree branches throughout the walk and a variety of birds found in the forest.  The walk will extent to the Griffin Falls, downstream the river and you will see different plants, learn their botanical names and their importance. After we shall go for Breakfast at Rain forest Lodge.  After breakfast, we shall head off to the Itanda Falls, you will have a chance of seeing people raft through the rapids, admire take photos and then depart proceed to the Source of the Nile (Rumors at the Source) for Lunch which MUST be a fresh Tilapia from the lake served with French fries and DRINK.  After Lunch, Relax and stretch around to the Reptile Park to see reptiles like snakes, crocodiles, monitor lizards OR watch the traditional dance performances at the source grounds. This is not always there, it’s only on weekends. Later in the evening, we shall go for a Boat Cruise to the point where it’s believed to be the source of the Nile, where the lake waters joins the river. The water seems to be coming from the ground in form of a Fountain and then is joined by the waters of Lake Victoria before it travels 4000miles to Egypt.  Whilst on the Boat, we shall have encounters of different birds, both resident and migratory birds found on the river, if time allows you can extent the cruise to one f the landing sites on the lake Kikondo,after back to the boat and return back to the Source, the driver will be ready to take you home.
