Day 1. Transfer to the Park - Early morning departure from your accommodation place and set off Western Uganda, Masaka-Mbarara road, our first stop over will be at the Equator for breakfast and poses for photographs. We shall continue off Mbarara road and take Bushenyi road, the road runs through the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park and so approaching is the Magnificent Mountains of the Moon that keep looming in the background, reaching in the evening for supper and overnight.
Day 2. Today we shall arise early, breakfast and then lunch boxes heading into the remote areas of the park for the Morning Game Drive. Here we expect to see lions, schools of elephants, bushbucks, Ipalas, hippos, antelopes, warthogs that are seen all over the park every blick of the eye and a variety of different bird species since the park harbors over 650 sps of birds both migrant and resident birds. Proceed your drive into the southern remote areas of the park Ishasha Sector for the Tree climbing lions, these are seen lying on tree branches after their heavy meals and the drive to Ishasha is another chance for encounters of elephants, buffaloes, lions and other animals. We shall have a lunch break and then an afternoon Boat Trip on the Kazinga channel where hippos, crocodiles are seen in large numbers, elephants and buffaloes at the channel banks. There is also bird watching whilst on the boat, birds like kingfisher, pelicans, fish eagles, cormorants, herons etc this is an interesting. Retire supper and overnight.
Day 3 -After our good breakfast at the lodge, depart for Chimpanzee Trekking at Kyambura gorge, in search for the man’s closest relatives The Chimps. These half-human creatures share almost 80% of all human behaviors, you don’t feel like topping watching then while in their natural habitats. It’s a wonderful experience although this may be an optional activity for only those interested. After depart for home, lunch en route through Fort portal town –mubende and then Kampala/Jinja reaching late in the evening.
